On the eve of the Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation, the Cambodian National Stadium aided by China was officially started. As the service provider of project management for Cambodia's National Stadium, Arcplus Group was invited by the Chinese Ministry of Commerce to attend the opening ceremony of the Cambodia-China Stadium in Phnom Penh.

The National Stadium of Cambodia funded by the Chinese government for about 1.1 billion yuan, is about 15 kilometers north of the capital Phnom Penh. With a total floor area of 82,400m2, the stadium expected to be completed by 2022 will take 5 years of construction. Upon its completion, the stadium will be the largest comprehensive stadium in Cambodia with a capacity of about 60,000 spectators and will serve as the main venue for hosting the 2023 Southeast Asian Games in Cambodia.

On the site, Prime Minister of Cambodia Samdech Hun Sen and Chinese Ambassador to Cambodia Xiong Bo pressed the start button. Hun Sen said it was a great event that Cambodian athletes, sports enthusiasts and Cambodian people had been looking forward to. Xiong said at the ceremony that this national stadium project aided by the Chinese government has the largest scale and the highest level of foreign aid to date. After the completion, this new national stadium will become another landmark in Phnom Penh.
