Tianjin CHOW TAI FOOK Financial Center
Tianjin CHOW TAI FOOK Financial Center is not only an important landmark in Tianjin, but also the tallest skyscraper in the north, the fourth tallest in China, and the eighth tallest in the world.
The project covers an area of 2.8 hectares, with a construction area of approximately 390,000 square meters, situating North China at a height of 530 meters. From the beginning of its design, Tianjin CHOW TAI FOOK Financial Center has attracted wide attention for its beautiful shape and construction difficulty, and has won the reputation of “the diamond of the north”.
Artistic Architectural Style
The architectural expression and design of the tower are inspired by the fluid geometric shapes in art and nature, and the floor slabs are superimposed and gradually reduced, and the tapered shape is straight into the sky. This shape design not only takes aesthetics and visual impact into account, but also reduces the exterior wall surface area of the building, while minimizing the damage to the building caused by wind load, sun exposure and rain.
Sustainable super high-rise design strategy
The project design is in accordance with the LEED gold standard, using a variety of high-performance and environmental-friendly design techniques. The project fully applies the Building Information Modeling (BIM) technology to realize the information management of the design process, which not only improves the construction efficiency, but also contributes to environmental protection and material saving. Other sustainability strategies include high-performance enclosures, optimized natural lighting and green landscapes. For example, the green roof of the podium with grids can help reduce the heat island effect and provide a more sustainable and pleasant environment for tenants and visitors.
