Somekh Building is located in the central area of Shanghai, in the historical and cultural area of the Bund to the west of Huangpu River and south of Suzhou River. It is an excellent historical building in Shanghai. Its appearance is gorgeous, the interior is simple and elegant, and the decoration details are rich and wonderful. The original tower and corners are a brilliant stroke of the skyline of the Bund district, and are the representative of the English Baroque decoration in the Bund area in the early 20th century.

The goal of the protection and renovation design is to reproduce the historical style, carefully protect its existing and relatively complete key parts, rigorously restore important historical characteristic spaces and decorations. At the same time, rationally improve the quality, configure advanced MEO, fire protection and energy-saving systems according to high-end office standards to create a comfortable environment and rejuvenate the building.
