Inaugural Meeting of Shanghai Xian Dai Architectural Design (Group) Co., Ltd.
In 1997, with the support of the Shanghai government, East China Architectural Design & Research Institute and Shanghai Institute of Architectural Design & Research merged into "Shanghai Xian Dai Architectural Design (Group) Co., Ltd.", which created a precedent of the domestic architectural design industry. On March 28, 1998, Shanghai Xian Dai Architectural Design (Group) Co., Ltd. was officially established. At that time, Mr. Han Zheng, standing committee member of Shanghai Party Committee and vice mayor, and Mr. Ye Rutang, vice minister of the Ministry of Construction unveiled the nameplate of the Group. Mr. Yao Nianliang took the role of the company’s secretary of the party committee and the board director, Comrade Xiang Zuquan took the role of general manager and Comrade Ye Jinfang took the role of supervisory board chairman. On July 18, 1999, the Group’s 10 subordinate restructured companies held the unveiling ceremony, in which the restructured East China Architectural Design & Research Institute, Shanghai Institute of Architectural Design & Research, Environment and Building Decoration Design and Research Institute, Residence Design and Research Institute, Pudong Architectural Design & Research Institute, Jiang Huancheng Design Office, Xing Tonghe Architectural Creation Studio, Wei Dunshan Architectural Creation Studio, Cai Zhenyu Architectural Creation Studio, Expert Consultation Department, etc. were included.
At that time, Mr. Wang Guangdao, minister of the Ministry of Construction, Mr. Huang Wei, vice minister of the Ministry of Construction, and Mr. Shen Jun, vice mayor visited the Group.
